The new Riviera 43 Open Flybridge, is the latest in flybridge design from Australia’s most awarded luxury boat builder. This exciting new model incorporates great function and style within a supremely comfortable, sea-kindly hull.

When it comes to propulsion, the proven Volvo Penta Inboard Performance System (IPS) has allowed Riviera designers to create a fresh accommodation layout on the new 43 Open Flybridge. With all major engineering positioned well aft, enormous gains are made with beam-width space amidships.

Cruising at 24 knots with a top speed of around 31 knots, the 43 Open Flybridge has a range of 340 nautical miles from its 476 gallon tank. And of course handling the new 43 Open Flybridge in close-quarters is made care-free via the use of the integrated joystick control.

This particular boat is equiped with 2x 12" Garmin Glass Bridge GPS screens, integrated GRID controller autopilot helm. Garmin GSD 26 CHIRP sounder and transducer, 4 KW Open Array Radar.

People are changing the way they boat and our new designs reflect this transition.

Accommodations

On the 43 Open Flybridge, the line between cockpit and salon, inside and outside, is blurred by a large sliding glass door, opening awning window and mezzanine lounge seating.

The main saloon is both beautiful and practical, with seating for seven in a U-shape lounge to starboard around a generous sized, high gloss cherry wood folding table. To port is the fully equipped galley complete with a breakfast bar for two forward.

Forward of the salon, the Master Stateroom with a queen island bed is ringed by drawers and cabinets and a full length cedar-lined wardrobe. Access to private ensuite head with full shower and designer sink and fixtures. Though almost in the center of the hull, the Guest Stateroom is all air and light with optional opening portholes on either side provide ventilation. Twin Volvo powerplants are situated aft, which allows for the large accommodations - fuel and water tanks are situated centrally athwartships, providing ballast and balance as well as an effective sound barrier to the sleeping areas.

From the cockpit, teak tread stairs on the port side lead to the flybridge. Gas strut suspension helm chairs with the position of both slightly staggered to give the helmsman full elbow room and direct access to the cockpit stairs. Forward of the helm is plush weatherproof seating which gathers around a fiberglass with Corian insert table. Just opposite, a two-seater lounge adjoins the wet bar with fridge.
