Salt Spring Island’s Blossom Festival

Salt Spring Island celebrates its first Blossom Festival April 8th – 10th, 2011.  The cherry blossom festival is a Japanese springtime tradition called Sakura Matsuri and celebrates the natural beauty of the cherry blossom.  Here on the west coast, we are fortunate to experience the natural beauty of the cherry blossom every spring.
