This 2001 Pursuit 3000 Express is a highly capable and well-proven offshore cruiser with transferable moorage at Oak Bay Marina. Known for its solid hull design, practical layout, and offshore confidence, this Pursuit has benefitted from significant recent investment in both mechanical systems and onboard equipment.

Powered by twin Cummins 4BTA 250hp turbocharged diesel engines (approx. 950 hours each), the vessel delivers strong performance with excellent fuel efficiency. The engines are a proven platform, offering dependable torque and offshore reliability.

Significant recent mechanical work has been completed, including a port engine rebuild within the last few months, carried out by R&R Marine and subcontracted through Vector Yacht Services. This rebuild followed a raw water pump failure. The starboard engine has been fully serviced and surveyed, with rebuilt injectors installed during the same period of work.

In 2025, both propulsion systems received extensive drivetrain updates including new transmissions, couplers, seals, shafts, and professionally rebuilt propellers, all completed by Vector Yacht Services.  Racor fuel filters have been relocated to the aft bulkhead of the engine room for improved accessibility and maintenance efficiency.

Electronics and onboard systems have also been modernized, including all-new Simrad navigation electronics in 2023 and a high-end VHF radio installed in 2025.

The vessel has recently undergone a full exterior polish and wax. Bottom paint has been assessed and remains in good condition for the current season.

The interior presents in very clean, well-maintained condition with tidy upholstery and an enclosed helm for extended-season cruising. All onboard systems are reported to be fully operational, including freshwater, hot water, head system, and both fresh and raw water washdowns. All lighting systems are functional.

Overall, the vessel presents in very good condition for its age and has seen relatively light use given its capabilities.
