Moorage Programs

Moorage is available annually, monthly and nightly for boats up to 200 feet plus in the marina’s 500 open and covered berths in beautiful Sidney BC, just outside of Victoria.

Moorage Credit Program

While you are away cruising, visiting boaters moor in your berth, resulting in credits to your account. This program has proven successful for many years.

Here’s how it works:

For daily sublets, a credit equal to 20% of the gross nightly moorage revenue is applied to your account. Berths greater than 75-feet, a credit equal to 15% is applied based on the higher nightly rate.

For monthly sublets, if we rent your berth under the monthly rate schedule, the credit to your account is up to 50% of your annual moorage fee for that calendar month.

Metered electrical consumption while your boat is away will not be invoiced to you.

Moorage credits earned on your account may be used for any of our marina services before the credits expire at the end of the following calendar year.

This is an important part of our operations and its success would not be possible without your assistance and cooperation. Please inform our crew of your departure date and your intended return date. It’s that simple!

The moorage credit program enhances the efficiency of the marina and enables us to provide better service and improved facilities for you. It also provides a welcome berth for visiting boaters, a service you may also take advantage of at other marinas while cruising.

We anticipate a strong demand for moorage and your participation is very much appreciated. As you can see, taking advantage of this program can result in significant rewards!

Moorage Yacht Sales Program

Existing monthly or annual guests who list & sell their boat through Van Isle Marina Yacht Sales may transfer their slip to the purchaser of their boat.

With this program, prospective buyers are incentivized to pursue your boat over others. Additionally, you receive a 100% moorage refund should we be successful in subletting and transferring your slip to the purchaser.

We hope this new program provides additional value and a competitive sales advantage for choosing Van Isle Marina.

Moorage Wait List Program

In the event that a berth is not available, the wait list program offers you an opportunity to secure a position on an administered list in the order requests are received. Simply fill out the online form or contact the marina office to provide your yacht and contact information. We then contact you as soon as a slip becomes available. The non-refundable wait list administration fee is $175 per calendar year and is not applied to your moorage upon arrival.

This wait list program ensures a credible and efficient wait list for the benefit of customers seriously wanting moorage in the Victoria BC area at Van Isle Marina. Wait times vary and the marina makes every effort to accommodate all moorage requests.

Moorage Liveaboard Program

We offer liveaboard moorage in the marina to boats over 35 feet for a monthly fee. Please click here to download our application form.

You are considered a liveaboard if your boat is used as:

  • A principal residence
  • A temporary, seasonal or secondary residence for 14 nights or more in a month

Our liveaboard fee includes weekly holding tank pump-outs, daily access to a garbage and recycling program, water, parking, washrooms, showers, laundry, access to office staff, mail collection, messages, components to provide services for telephone, cable, power, priority slip snow removal and administration of the liveaboard emergency contact list.
