E Dock Redevelopment

Van Isle Marina is undergoing a renovation to E Dock.  Over the next 6 weeks, Draycor Construction will use barges and cranes to drill, blast, and dredge the rock located around E Dock.  Boats and sections of the docks from the north end of E Dock are being removed.  The rock will be removed to provide 7 feet of water at low tide.  A planting bench will also be constructed along the shoreline of F Dock roadway.

After the rock is removed, the plan is to extend E Dock and construct several new 40′ slips.  This redevelopment will increase moorage capacity and significantly improve water access to both E and F Dock channels.
