Lavender Festival & Open House

Make sure you bring the children and grand-children. There is a great kids program, with crafts, face-painting, feeding the animals and loads of kids treats, free refreshments and admission for the children. Each child will be given a feed bag of healthy treats for the animals so they can feed them. The border collies are waiting with a large selection of tennis balls should anyone want to throw balls for them 1000 times. The weather looks as if it is going to be just great, free drinks are available for all to battle the heat. Childrens hotdogs are available for $3 and grown up ones for $5. See you Saturday/ Sunday 10 am to 4.30 pm. Parking is available at the info centre next door or on John Road, on farm parking is reserved for handicapped.
