SAFETY REMINDER – TWIST LOCK your electrical plug!

To ensure the safe connection between your power cord and the electrical outlet please securely twist lock your cord end into the outlet.  This step is essential, otherwise arcing will occur which causes damage to the outlet and your cord end. This arcing is caused when your plug is not securely twist locked into the outlet resulting in a loose connection.  If the connection is not secure, heat is created due to the electrical resistance along the continuous arc from the loose connection.  This heat is what burns out the plastic outlet and your plastic cord end and creates a serious fire hazard.  Please remember to always twist lock your electrical cord into the outlet
