Salt Spring Apple Festival – October 4

Salt Spring Island is a small island of 11,000 people in the Straight of Georgia between Victoria and Vancouver. The island can be accessed by boat,  by the BC Ferries to Fulford, Vesuvius and Long Harbour, and by float plane.

This festival on Sunday, October 4th highlights the 350 varieties of organic apples grown on the island. The 18 farm hosts will also show the many complementary activities that make Salt Sprint a great place for organic agriculture. There are also apple tastings, tours, and delicious lunch offerings such as Thai food, BBQ pork, Cob Oven pizza and many more.

Tickets are available only on the day of the festival at Fulford Hall and outside the Ganges Tourist Information Centre. For more information please click here.
